Derby Night Lights is a very special event for our football program and community. Please make sure you communicate the importance of this evening to your teams.

Coaches, please make sure every player, from first grade through varsity, receives a few snaps during the scrimmage. We are not here to show everyone how good we are. We are here to show our community that we are ONE program and ONE big FAMILY!

Please send this schedule to the parents of every player. Encourage them to invite their friends and family to this free community event. Thank you for everything you do!

Derby Night Lights Schedule

5:00 – 5:20 p.m.

First & Second Grade Warm Up

Grass area behind the locker room.

5:20 – 5:45 p.m.

First & Second Grade Scrimmage

South End & North End

Third & Fourth Grade warm up on the grass area behind the locker room.

5:45 – 6:10 p.m.

Third & Fourth Grade Scrimmage

Third Grade: North End · Fourth Grade: South End

Fifth & Sixth Grade warm up on the grass area behind the locker room.

6:10 – 6:35 p.m.

Fifth & Sixth Grade Scrimmage

Fifth Grade: North End · Sixth Grade: South End

DMS Seventh & Eighth Grade warm up on the grass area behind the locker room.

6:35 – 7:00 p.m.

DMS Seventh & Eighth Grade Scrimmage

Seventh Grade: North End · Eighth Grade: South End

DNMS Seventh & Eighth Grade warm up on the grass area behind the locker room.

7:00 – 7:25 p.m.

DNMS Seventh & Eighth Grade Scrimmage

Freshman Team warm up & team stretch on the grass area behind the locker room.

7:25 – 7:30 p.m.

Program Wide Team Stretch

DJF, DMS, DNMS, and DHS line up in the south end zone together.

7:30 – 7:45 p.m.

Band Performance

The band performs on the track following the team stretch.

7:35 – 7:45 p.m.

Varsity Pregame

Varsity completes its pregame routine in the south end.

7:35 – 8:00 p.m.

Freshman Scrimmage

North End

7:45 – 8:15 p.m.

Varsity Scrimmage

South End. The ball moves at 8:00 p.m. when the Freshman scrimmage ends.
